We love it here!! Its free. Great place for kids to play on playground and then cool down On splash pad.
Nice spray park and it's free. However if you have young children (or infants) there is no sustainable shade for anyone to minimize exposure or heat injuries UNLESS the family using it provided giant umbrella's which can blow away, 'beach/park/camping pop up sun protection typically one piece with a floor that can be anchored. With the increased credit upgrade the town recently received and the sound finances, I 'm sure the Parks Department Supervisor can come up with a few reasonable solutions and present to the citizens to vote on which option they prefer THEIR TAX dollars spent on (contractor, cost of supplies, timeline of completion and so on). Come on Chili, come into the 21st century by presenting a referendum on building a NEW and MODERN recreation center instead of that sad building on Buffalo Rd AND a better usable space for our increasing SENIOR population. Let's take care of some much needed upgrades to what is offered. We have a new library, town hall, Highway Department, now what about Parks & Recreation? I don't believe the taxpayers had say on who contracted to build those facilities, were 3 estimates presented for the citizens to view and ask questions...... I bet not.
Small-ish park but splash park section is very cool. Nice to see families out having fun, and this is the perfect place to do it!
Decent park with a spray park, lodge to rent, sports fields and a playground. Might be confusing to find for people not from the area as it is way back behind a neighborhood and not obvious from the main road.
4 Stars because it needs more trees!! It is recently constructed at the end of a dead end street and is equipped with bathrooms. It's big draw came in the summer of '16 when a new spray park was built and opened. It has several soccer fields and plenty of parking, easy to access off Union Street in West Chili. There is also a hiking trail around it's perimeter.
